Here are some renders of a test scene I modeled in Maya this summer to try cartoon modeling. First rendered set (pink house) are all Toon Shaded; the second (blue house) rendered set is lit with a strong coloured light; and the last image is a screencap with flat shading.
Our film, Blast from the Past, is nearing completion! It's due by the end of the week!
Here's a collaboration with my groupmate Wenna Lin, the animated logo for our third year film's "production company", Spilled Milk! Rough animation of the milk carton by Wenna Lin, cleanup and milk/text animation by me.
This might be the only place these environments will be show in entirety like they are here- I've been working a lot on putting together these environments for our film, which will be completed in the next couple of weeks!
MODERN SCENE -- Couches modeled by Suzie Erskine -- Chairs, coffee cup, cereal bowl and spoon, bookshelf, wall shelves and picture frames on shelves modeled by Wenna Lin -- Table modeled by Diakoursheet Mahmoudi -- Remaining modeled by me (including tablet on table, books and plants on bookshelf, and pillow on couch)
EGYPTIAN SCENE- -- Stairs, torches, and ground plane modeled by Rosa Lee -- Remaining modeled by me
I've been modeling this scene as a personal project because I'm trying to get into 3d modeling- I LOVE IT! And I LOVE MAYA! I barely enjoy anything more than modeling in Maya and I really hope to improve and learn everything I can about Maya over time, as well as other 3d softwares!
I have a second scene I'm working on for my group film that's almost complete so hopefully I'll be able to post some renders of that soon.
I reanimated my muzzle sync animation from second year, here it is! AND... My portfolio site is up! http://animation.sheridanc.on.ca/portfolio/2017/bennerka/ I threw the link on the sidebar for this blog too!
And I took some glamour shots of my octoman sculpture I want to throw on here too:
Here's an update for my family mostly- 3d stuff! I am making a 3d film with 10 other people this year and here's a little bit of proof that that's actually happening; character model by Samuel Morin and props are mine:
And here are texture designs for the shields I designed:
